Svein-Magnus Sørensen is an independent technology architect, technology manager, and IT advisor with more than 20 years of experience. He is also a board professional holding executive and advisory roles in non-profits, startup, and scaleup companies. A seasoned angel investor, he has made over 40 investments in technology-oriented startups and funds, and acts as a supporting business mentor at various accelerators and startup programs. He currently serves as Senior Advisor to ENFA (Euro-Nordic Funding Alliance) and is the Executive Chairman of NorBAN (The Norwegian Business Angel Network), where he spearheads efforts to revitalize the organization as the primary national angel network to strengthen the startup ecosystem. His professional experience includes roles as a Solution Architect and Technology Advisor at Cartavio AS, Managing Architect and Chief Architect at Netcompany/Atkins, Senior Solution Architect at Sopra Steria, and Domain Architect at Telenor Norway. Svein-Magnus holds an M.Sc. in Communications Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a B.Eng. in Computer Science. He also holds a Diploma in Project Management and completed a specialization program at the Norwegian School of Entrepreneurship.
