Alessandro Carbone

Andreas Stefanidis is a highly accomplished professional with a primary focus on the development of Young Entrepreneurship at national, European, and global levels. He has a special interest in the development and implementation of the European Entrepreneurship Training Curriculum and the Academy of Entrepreneurship.

He serves as the Co-founder and President of the Academy of Entrepreneurship (AKEP), a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2007 dedicated to fostering the entrepreneurship mindset in Europe. Additionally, he is the President of the Educational Association of Athens HFAISTOS and the Accelerator Director of Aephoria.net, a sustainable-business education and incubation program. Andreas also holds leadership positions as the Director and Honorary President of OESYNE (Federation of Hellenic Associations of Young Entrepreneurs), Deputy Secretary General of the Hellenic-Chinese Business Chamber, Treasurer of the Hellenic Spanish Chamber of Commerce, and Commercial Arbitrator for the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In the academic sphere, Andreas is a Lecturer at BCA College, leading modules in Accounting, Finance, and Startup Business Financing. His teaching background includes nearly a decade as a Visiting Lecturer at the State University of New York at New Paltz, as well as roles at the University of New York Tirana and Athens Tech College. He has also worked as a Livelihoods Strategy Consultant for the International Rescue Committee.

Andreas earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics from the State University of New York, New Paltz, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He was recognized with the Outstanding Senior Award, the Outstanding Student of Accounting Award, and the Wall Street Journal Achievement Award. He is a Chartered Management Accountant (C.M.A.) Student Member and a certified trainer of adults in non-formal education.
