ENFA highlights five EU funded projects demonstrating cross border innovation and collaboration

The Euro Nordic Funding Alliance (ENFA) has highlighted five successful European Union funded projects that demonstrate how strategic partnerships and expert proposal development can transform innovative ideas into funded impact. These projects represent only a small portion of more than thirty successful EU funding applications supported through one of ENFA’s key partners within the ENFA network.

A special recognition goes to the VAEV Research and Development Agency and the EU Research and Development Agency, led by ENFA Managing Directors in Austria, Oz El Coskuner and Marco Aurelio N. Roux. Together with their team, they have helped organizations across Europe secure EU funding and build impactful international collaborations.

Each of the following initiatives shows how collaboration, innovation, and structured proposal development can lead to meaningful outcomes supported by European funding programs.

Empowering migrant women through education and opportunity

The project TOGETHER WE CAN focuses on empowering migrant women living in rural areas across Europe. The initiative works to increase access to education, employment opportunities, and professional training. By strengthening inclusion and skills development, the project supports women in building sustainable livelihoods while contributing to community development.

Participating countries include Germany, Cyprus, Portugal, Italy, and Austria.

Project partners include Verein Niedersächsischer Bildungsinitiativen e.V., SYNTHESIS Center for Research and Education, Rightchallenge Associação, Exeo Lab Srl, and VAEV.

Supporting women entrepreneurs in the digital economy

The project E COMMERCE4WOMEN supports women entrepreneurs across Europe by helping them develop digital skills and launch online businesses. The initiative provides training in digital commerce, online marketing, and business development. The goal is to strengthen financial independence while encouraging innovation within the digital economy.

Participating countries include Lithuania, Turkey, Croatia, France, Italy, Romania, and Austria.

Project partners include Kazimiero Simonaviciaus Universitetas UAB, APEC Egitim Danismanlik Ltd., VISOKA POSLOVNA SKOLA PAR, M3 MCube association, MAG S.R.L., HIP Hub for Innovation Policy, and VAEV.

Building social enterprises based on cultural heritage

The CHAMPION project supports migrants in building social enterprises inspired by their cultural heritage. The initiative combines entrepreneurship with cultural identity to create opportunities for economic inclusion and community engagement.

Participating countries include Luxembourg, Spain, Greece, Italy, and Austria.

Project partners include Global Chamber of Commerce for Portuguese Speaking Countries, EOLAS S.L., MyArtist Koin.S.Ep., CESIE, and VAEV.

Training youth for digital activism and sustainability

The TREASURE project trains young people to become digital activists who advocate for sustainability and social inclusion. Participants learn how to use digital tools and communication strategies to promote environmental awareness and support Europe’s transition toward greener societies.

Participating countries include Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Slovenia, and Austria.

Project partners include Fundacion Altum, Bilim ve Insan Vakfi, Balkan Institute of Innovative Development, Fundacija Sursum Drustvo, and VAEV.

Supporting individuals returning to work after burnout

The REINTEGRATE WELLBEING project focuses on helping individuals who have experienced burnout re enter the workforce. Through mentoring programs, digital training opportunities, and mental health support, the initiative helps participants rebuild confidence and regain professional stability.

Participating countries include Germany, Denmark, Portugal, Belgium, Sweden, and Austria.

Project partners include BERLINK ETN GmbH, European E-learning Institute, Rightchallenge Associação, The Square Dot Team, IMPACT HUB Stockholm AB, Projects for Europe PFE, and VAEV.
