ENFA at hashtag#SMEAssembly2025 — Copenhagen, Denmark

We are proud to share that the Euro Nordic Funding Alliance (ENFA) was invited to be represented at the SME Assembly 2025 in Copenhagen by our managing director in Greece, Andreas Stefanidis from Academy of Entrepreneurship (AKEP.EU) and our Secretary General.

This annual event is the European Commission’s flagship gathering bringing together entrepreneurs, policy‑makers, and business support organisations under the theme “Successful SMEs, Competitive Europe”.

ENFA through its strong presence in 21 countries across 3 continents, is able to bring a fresh perspective to the table.

✅ After a very insightful visit to the AlphaLaval Solutions Innovation Hub, at the transformed Forum venue, our engagement included:

• Participating in workshops and high‑level policy dialogues focused on SME resilience, digitalisation, sustainability, internationalisation, and late payments

• Engaging one‑on‑one with innovators and ecosystem leaders from across Africa, Asia and Europe — from Nigeria and China to Uganda and Kenya

• Connecting with peers across sectors including agribusiness, tech, product design, data protection and the creative economy

• Reflecting on the vital role of design, platforms and de‑risked investment for scaling impact‑driven ventures

✅ Key insights from the event:

• SMEs are essential to supply‑chain continuity and crisis‑preparedness

• Europe still has work to do in implementing a genuine hashtag#ThinkSmallFirst approach

• Simpler digital tools and smarter standardisation can dramatically strengthen EU SMEs’ competitiveness

A big thank‑you to the organisers, Promoting Enterprise and all the partners for making this a truly cross‑sector exchange forum.

ENFA looks forward to translating these insights into action, as we continue to support our members in accessing cross‑border business, blended finance and global innovation ecosystems.
