
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), under Horizon Europe and managed by the European Research Executive Agency (REA), have the objective to attract and retain talents in Europe. The MSCA fund excellent research and innovation as well as equip researchers at all stages of their career with new knowledge and skills, through mobility across borders and exposure to different sectors and disciplines. The MSCA do not only have a positive impact on individual researchers, but also contribute to the development of excellent doctoral programmes, postdoctoral training programmes, and collaborative research projects across academic and non-academic organisations. Since the launch of these actions, MSCA have become the European Union’s reference programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training.
